Setting up
Install the projector according to the environment
and manner the projector will be used in.
For special installation applications such as a
ceiling mount application, specic mounting
accessories (
Specications in the Quick Start
Guide) and service may be required. Before
installing the projector, consult with your dealer
about your installation application.
Arrangement
Refer to the following tables T-1 and T-2 in the Quick Start Guide to determine
the screen size and projection distance. The values shown in the table are
calculated for a full size screen.

WARNING
►Install the projector where you can access the power
outlet easily. If anything unusual occurs, unplug the projector immediately. Other-
wise this may result in a re or electrical shock.
►Do not subject the projector to unstable conditions. If the projector falls or
topples over, it could result in personal injury, and/or damage to the projector and
surrounding items. Using a damaged projector can result in a re and an electrical
shock.
• Do not place the projector on unstable surfaces, such as an inclined surface,
surfaces subject to vibration, on top of a wobbly table or cart, or a surface that is
smaller than the projector.
• Do not position the projector on its side, front or rear.
• Do not attach or place anything on the projector unless otherwise specied in
the manual.
• Do not use any mounting accessories except the accessories specied by the
manufacturer. Read and keep the manuals of the accessories used.
• For special installations such as ceiling mounting, be sure to consult your dealer
beforehand.
